Camp Business Basics (fondly referred to as “Camp B.B.”) offers children a unique camping experience. This is a place where campers learning about entrepreneurship, making money, team work and…HAVING FUN OF COURSE!

During this one week camp children will learn how to own and operate their own business! They can decide to become a “sole proprietor” or build a team and operate as a “partnership”. Campers will create a product (usually something craft-derived), purchase their “raw materials” from our Camp BB store, visit the Covent Garden Market on Thursday morning to “Sell, Sell Sell!” their merchandise, repay their loan to Camp BB (called expenses!) and then take home the profit!!. There are different themes which are discussed each each day; production, structure of a business, marketing and advertising just to name a few.

Campers will also have the chance to participate in a corporate tour (each week offers a different tour), SELL their products at the Market (as mentioned above), give back to our community with some volunteer opportunities on Friday, visit the splash pad to finish off the week!
